  1 0 You are smart to do staggered sowings. A few others to consider: Black-eyed Susan, Cleome, Nicotiana, Petunia and sunflowers. If there is a shadier site: Begonia, Fuchsia and Impatiens are ideal. A blue-flowered perennial that will be in full glory then is Geranium Rozanne.   0 0 Great question. The bulbs you have listed should do fine though I'm not sure about the timing for the Calla and Canna . . . Zinnias are great cut flowers they come in lots of different colors and styles AND they hold up really well after they have been cut. Poppies and Cosmos are not flowers that I use as cut flowers because they lose all their petals after they are cut. I like scabiosa, statice, strawflower, sunflowers, bachelor's buttons, oregano blossoms, zulu daisies and nigella seed pods in bouquets -- these could all be started from seeds now. With most of these flowers, you will need to cut the flowers so that they will continue to bloom for several weeks. Best wishes for your wedding and have fun growing all these beautiful flowers!
