Vegan soft pretzel?

— Those at the movie theaters aren't so good, sometimes they are ok at a baseball game, then there's Auntie Anne's at the mall... where in Seattle can I get my face around a good pretzel?

I get all my pretzels from the "german store" on Roosevelt (technically it's called the Continental Store):

They get a fresh batch of pretzels in nearly everyday but often sell out by the afternoon. They have the traditional pretzels, pretzels rolls, and pretzels sticks (not hard sticks, more like a puffy breadstick).

I don't know if they're vegan though. Is there an ingredient in regular soft pretzels that is typically non-vegan?

The store is definitely not vegan (german meats and cheeses via the deli, etc.), but it's a great little place to get stuff from.

Nearby, there's Bratz, which now offers pretzels:

I haven't had their pretzels yet. They are on the pricy side ($3+ I think) compared with the ones at the german store, but apparently people like them. I wonder if those people have had the german store pretzels yet though. I have no idea if Bratz pretzels are vegan. Call and find out and report back to us?
