I would take them to Both Ways Cafe...drive along Lake Washington to get there...have a great breakfast-oatmeal with special toppings for my dad and fresh biscuits with an egg dish for my mom...and coffee will make everyone smile...then we would take a walk around Seward Park after...Perfect combination.

Cafe Presse - $5 omelettes, $7.25 croque madames, good coffee, and free baguettes. This place is perfect all hours of the day, really.

Chupacabra! Only on Sundays, but great tex mex offerings. Everything is delicious. Plus, its close to Starbucks if you need your morning jolt first.

Cafe Flora. The last time I went there were some amazing biscuits and root-vegetable gravy. And a scramble that was to die for!!

    Even meat-eaters dig this spot.

I would say go to Linda's for (3)breakfast sliders that come with hash browns for $6.99. The sausage in the these little sandwiches is perfect. Of course, it's hard to resist their bloody mary's, which will jack up the price.

I would take them to Both Ways Cafe. They have a good variety of food that can generally please all - v. important when families are involved.

The ride over there along Lake Washington puts everyone in the right mood. It's a beautiful drive.

Brunch or Breakfast can be followed by a walk along the lake. You get it all.

It's not expensive and the people are true Seattle nice. It's not crowded usually and if it's nice you can even sit outside.

611 supreme, not too expensive and divine crepes. they're made w/ buckwheat flour and are indulgent. get the le jardin and add cambazola if you like the kick blue cheese gives, also the seasonal fruit is good if you've got a sweet tooth. the grapefruit mimosa is delish.

The Steelhead Diner at the Market has the best Sunday brunch in town. The food is innovative. They have egg dishes unlike anything anywhere. I wish they would serve brunch on Saturdays. Of course the folks also love going to the market.

I know it's kind of a lame answer, but sometimes, you just have to go to Beth's. It's so obvious that it's not!

My house for eggs Benedict and herbes de Provence roasted potatoes.

Because the effort of me cooking is less than the effort of getting myself together and herding everyone off to a restaurant before Noon. And the chances of a decent meal without a long wait are a bit higher if I do it myself.
