Local Recumbent Trikes?

I'm interested in recumbent trikes, due to a problem with my right arm, and recumbents seem like a way I could resume the cycling I once enjoyed pre-problem. I've seen some peeps on recumbent bikes (2 wheels), and they seem a bit more dangerous/prone to toppling over, though I could very well be wrong about that. I've seen several peeps whizzing cheerfully by on something I'd be interested in trying out, but they all went by too fast for me to inquire about their supercool wheels.

Googling the situation led me to several places I could order one, but: 1) they're generally quite expensive and 2) I haven't had an opportunity to try one out at all, and I'm wary to plop down big bucks (for me) without a tryout. My Seattle research hasn't been extensive, but I have asked a few bike shops, and while they seem pleasantly willing to order one for me and work with me on that, they don't have anything already local, and . . . see previous.

Does any business Seattle-local or vaguely nearby specialize in these? Or . . . any other recommendations anyone has about this? Someplace that could rent me one or let me try one out locally before purchase would be awesome.

(Er . . . I wasn't going to go into tedious detail re: my arm problem, but it occurs that could be relevant. I smashed up my radius and ulna in a car wreck. Arm currently held together by two metal plates with screws. Can't ride a standard issue upright bike anymore because suspending part of my weight on something that delivers shocks through those bones is now incredibly painful, even on a relatively flat surface for short distances. Otherwise, arm mostly fine, but regular-style biking now out of the question. I imagine a recumbent-style with most of my weight on my ass with arms only needed for steering or braking would solve this, but not 100% certain (hence the desire for a tryout).)

Thanks!

Angle Lake Cyclery in Seatac is the recumbent store in the Seattle area. Check 'em out!

Bikes4Health, LLC is on Beacon Hill in Seattle, and they specialize in recumbents, trikes, tandems, and electric cycles. They are by appointment only, which actually works out well since they work with customers one-on-one.
