Can I recycle CD and DVD cases?

Are there any facilities that take old CD or DVD cases?

CD and DVD cases are not recyclable in Seattle's curbside program. Reuse is the best option. CD resale stores might be interested...

King County Solid Waste Division has a Web site called "What do I do with..."

    http://your.kingcounty.gov/solidwaste/wdidw/

A search for "DVD cases" gives results for "Tapes and Disks," which isn't exactly what you have. But it does list several computer recycling services that would probably take your cases.

You could also try InterConnection, a groovy computer reuse center near Gas Works park. http://www.interconnection.org/

There is also GreenDisk, who recycle technotrash for a reasonable fee - http://www.greendisk.com/

Considering they sell them for outrageous replacement costs at music stores and DVD stores, I would think there would be a market for them....

I can't think of anyplace that takes them, but possibly you could offer them on Craig's List in the free section, or on Freecycle.
