What to do with PVC/Vinyl siding?

I want to rid my house of horrid and highly toxic vinyl siding. (For details, see the documentary "Blue Vinyl"). What's keeping me back is that vinyl can't be recycled, and throwing it away only passes it toxicity on to others. Aside from pushing for producer responsibility legislation, do you have any recommendations?

    I'm afraid I don't have any good recycling options for this. While technically recyclable, PVC siding is usually only recycled in large quantities from industrial sources, if it gets recycled at all.
