Are there recycling programs for commercial buildings?I've worked in several office buildings downtown that only have recycling bins for office paper. Everything else gets thrown away. I feel so guilty every time I throw away a plastic bottle at work, but right now the only alternative is to take all of my recycling home with me, which would be awkward on the bus. Does Seattle have a program for providing glass/plastic/non-office paper recycling in commercial buildings? If so, how can I get my building to participate? Would providing recycling bins be up to individual tenants or the building management? |
