  0 0 Great question. There is a place that recycles styrofoam for a reasonable fee for businesses and hospitals, if you want to get activist about it (hope so) and lobby the VA to consider it. According to their site, hosptials/labs have a lot of styro which is why they distinguish the needs of general biz from hospitals on their site. So maybe a movement to consolidate all styro at the VA could be successful if you identify your green colleagues?
