where can i get a zipper replaced??

I have a very nice dress that the zipper is broken on and I need a place that is fairly cheap to get it replaced.

    I usually refer people to Downtown Cleaners in north Capitol Hill. They are pretty reasonably priced and do a good job from everything I've heard. Here's their information:

    the alterations/cleaners on Olive Way has been a go-to place for me before.

    Don't go to a specialty dress store, they'll pirate your wallet.

    Well, you can buy the replacement zipper at Wal-Mart or Jo-ann Fabrics or similar sewing merchants. but who will do the work for you? I think you're looking at a seamstress or a laundry or similar skilled person.
