What to do/Where to go for casual date on Friday night?

I need a good place to go/neat thing to do for a casual date on Friday. Places to eat, neat things to do, close to Queen Anne/downtown. We like food/booze, nothing too expensive, though. Neither of us are a fan of crowds. Help is sorely appreciated fora couple of indecisive folks.
I know this is in the Food/Drink category, but if there are any events or places you can recommend aside from eateries, that'd be rad.

I realize Friday has passed, but there will be more, so here's some ideas:

    1) Citizen - this is a super adorable crepe/coffee/sandwich/wine place on the southeast side of Queen Anne (right by QFC). It's very chill, not too expensive, yet still has a romantic atmosphere. Food is good, and if I'd seen this question yesterday, I would have directed you towards their ridiculous living social coupon.
    2) The Can Can (Pike Place) - I just went here for the first time and it was super fun. You can have dinner and drinks while you watch (or just drinks and dessert to keep the bill low). Tickets are about $10 I think. They've had strangermart coupons consistently for about a year, so if you buy one of those, it'll be cheaper.
    3) On the Boards - this is a cool little theater space at the bottom of the hill (1st Ave W and Roy). I've been meaning to go for a while, as I've heard excellent things from friends. Tickets are around $20. If you time it right, you could hit happy hour at The Sitting Room (super cute bar/restaurant next door) before your show.

    Have fun!

Go see improv at the Market Theater in Post Alley. It's a lot of fun and very reasonable. If you hit the 8:30 show, that will get you out in time for late night Happy Hour (10-12) at one of the places close by.
