  0 0 Food and yard waste service is required per city law for all single-family households. You can opt out if you compost at home. You can bring yard waste and compost to a few locations including the solid waste transfer station on northlake ave., but you're going to encounter minimum charges (over 20 bucks I'm sure). To get your bin, because you DO need one, Call (206) 684-3000.
