Where in Seattle can I take a class on iPhone and iPad App development?

I have some understanding of app development and programming for the iPhone, but I'd really like to find a class that will fully cover the subject.

Any idea where I can learn this in a classroom setting?

Stanford has one of their iPhone development courses online. They have tapes of lectures, and if you go to the website for the course, you can download the assignments and so on. As someone semi-experienced with coding but not with iP* development specifically, I found it a very good starting point.

UW Continuing Education has a certificate program, taught by some sharp fellows. I've seen rough drafts of a couple of the lectures at developer meetups, which were high quality.

Personally, I like book-learnin', so if it were me I'd start with a book or two, kick the tires, surmount the early humps with mailing lists and Stack Overflow, and bring a few carefully selected questions to NSCoder nights, Tuesdays at the U-Village Zoka coffeehouse.

Craig Hockenberry's "iPhone App Development" seems pretty good. Apple's "The Objective-C Programming Language" is excellent, and a free PDF. I haven't seen Aaron Hillegass' iPhone book yet, but his Cocoa book for the Mac was top-shelf, and he's a hell of an educator. If money's no object, buy a ticket to one of his Big Nerd Ranch iPhone immersion weeks, and you'll emerge both well-informed and well-fed.
