Has anyone heard the guy walking around the vicinity of 15th and Pine with the horrible cough?

I live in the vicinity of 15th and Pine, and almost every day I hear someone outside hacking up a lung with this crazy tuberculosis cough. Not your average smoker's hack either. It's the most ungodly sound I have ever heard come out of a human, and clearly needs a doctor's attention. (I work in a doctor's office, and this is like nothing I've ever heard before). I've actually seen the guy while out and about, just hacking away while he walks down the street. Has anyone else heard this guy? Am I just being paranoid about the health of the public?

I'm more curious if anyone else has heard this before or is bothered by it as opposed to cornering the dude about seeking medical care...even though he probably needs it.

    i've heard it and i don't think he's walking around most of the time. i think he lives in the Bancroft. it is quite a disturbing noise.
