What alt-weekly should I read in NYC?

I'm leaving Seattle for New York City--Brooklyn, to be exact--at the end of this month. This means no more The Stranger! (Well, there's still SLOG, but it's just not the same.)

What alt-weekly and/or city blogs should I look out for when I get there?

    There's no direct conversion equiv for the Stranger, like there sorta is in Portland,
    but, there's wonderous variety:

    NY press (www.nypress.com) & www.Gothamist.com & www.brooklynpaper.com
    (and you cannot live without
    www.overheardinNewYork.com for daily fun)
