  0 0 RandiBeever- I didn't see any studies directly addressing either the efficacy or risks of ginsengs and glaucoma. However, there are many species of ginseng, acting differently on the body. Some species will affect circulation and blood pressure, and would raise concerns for me in someone with glaucoma. Also, there are different types of glaucoma, with different causes, including glaucoma that may also show decreased blood flow to the eye or be worsening due to oxidative stress. A better understanding of your particular type of glaucoma and injury to the eye may provide some direction in treatment considerations with your naturopath.
