Why is there no link from QL to Slog?

QL seems pretty well integrated into Slog, and Slog has a prominent link to QL. Why not the other direction?

Additionally, there used to be a QL link to The Stranger's website, from which you could easily get to Slog. But that seems to have disappeared in the redesign. Why?

    The fine print at the bottom says: 

    Questionland was incubated at The Stranger Hatchery from a YouSaidIt egg. Questionland was released into the wild on August 1st, 2010.

    Seems as though QLand has spun off from the mother ship at this point.

    So that Qlanders are not encouraged to 'go there'.

    It's like pleasure island, perhaps...

    I don't really mind.
    Cross-fertilization can be a bad thing in some cases - not everything must be linked: sometimes bookmarks/favs are a fair enough way to get around the interwebs.
