Any way to freeze fresh picked raspberries so they will be great in the winter?

Raspberries lose much of their sweetness when they're frozen, like a lot of berries do. That said, I freeze berries by putting them on parchment paper on a cookie sheet in the freezer, that way they won't be all stuck together in a clump. After they're frozen, I put them in ziploc freezer bags or freezer containers - you want something with a nice seal.

I've had better luck with making something with the raspberries before I freeze them, like raspberry syrup, or jam if the seeds are tiny, jelly if the seeds are too big.

Do you want them whole or do you want something like pie filling? If it's filling that you're thinking, go ahead and make pie filling, then portion and freeze.

For whole berries, rinse and dry them, then put them in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Then put your individually quick frozen berries in a zip top, remove excess air, and freeze until needed.
