B (or worse) 80's movie featuring beige 'cool' motorcycles with missiles and/orlasers?

Mad Max-ish. The lead/hero was that guy that looks vaguely like a taller Parker Stevenson, but isn't Parker.
It had a certain 'Knight Rider era' vibe of "hey look at the totally fake looking "cool" vehicles! Now look at the huge explosions! Now the vehicles again! Oh look, Cleavage!" and was a bit short on plot/character/likability. It got at least some airplay on cable, methinks and was certainly in the bargain bin at the video store.

But it's stuck, visually, like a nameless burr in my head. Help, please.

You didn't mention Heather Thomas (tsk tsk), but are you talking about Cyclone?

I think the movie you are talking about is Megaforce, starring Barry Bostwick.

As if one movie like that weren't enough, 1983 brought "Warrior of the Lost World," (also a memorable subject for MST3K), which had a terrible talking motorcycle, Persis Khambatta of the first, worst Star Trek movie, and Donald Pleasence.

Also "Galactica 1980" - though that was on tv - had some beige flying motorbike action.
