Webisode or pitch the pilot?Myself and four other producers here in Seattle are shooting a sitcom, The Divine Marigolds. We have started shooting character vignettes to let the web audience into the lives of the characters a bit before we shoot the pilot. Would it be more effective to focus our energies on fundraising and brand awareness than spending time and resources shooting for the web? We will be airing the vignettes as updates for backers on our Kickstarter page, and as a way to show investors that this show is the real deal. 100% local cast and crew. Thanks! |
