Any suggestions for drinks I could make with hibiscus flowers?

A local supermarket sells these hibiscus flowers in syrup (like these), and I've always wanted to try them. They're cool looking, but I have no idea what I would do with them or what kind of drinks I could make with them.

Do you have any suggestions for hibiscus flower drinks that would be tasty and pretty?

It'd be great to get both alcoholic and non-alcoholic ideas (I'm not a big drinker myself, but my friends are).

I love these flowers in syrup and they are super in cocktails. I like to use some of the syrup in a cocktail and then garnish with the flower. If you like summer margaritas then try shaking up the following drink:

Measure into a cocktail shaker : 2 oz 1800 Silver Tequila (or whatever other tequila you fancy), ½ - ¾ oz Agave Nectar Syrup, ¾ oz fresh lime juice and a dash of the syrup from the jar of Wild Hibiscus flowers. Add ice to the top, cap and shake vigorously. I like to add a tiny dash of soda water to lighten it up a bit. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with one of those beautiful hibiscus flowers.

Another idea is to make a sangria - try adding the jar of hibiscus with the syrup into a bottle of white or red wine along with a sliced lemon, a fresh cut up peach and a handful of berries – let it steep for a few hours before drinking over ice.

Hibiscus, sparkling water (perrier perhaps), a splash of cranberry juice (or pomegranate) and a lime twist would make a great mocktail. Or you could sub out the sparkling water for bubbly for your drinking friends.

If you like sparkling whites you could add a spoonful of syrup to a glass of Prosecco and then put a hibiscus flower in it--very pretty. The same thing would work well with sparkling water.

For something fancier, I recently saw a recipe for a drink called the Marea.
