My boy kitty loves berry flavored yogurt, is that ok to give him?

We only let him lick the lid, or a little bit off the spoon. I was told yogurt is lactose free. He only likes the berry kind.

He is very food adventurous, he likes roast beef and licked up curry sauce from a plate once. Loves his wet food and kitty treats. He is really good at identifying if you're holding a white yogurt container vs a white mug.

Yogurt is NOT lactose-free. It does contain bacteria that helps digestion though. My cat will throw up after just licking the lid. Obv. your cat is fine or you've just been lucky.

Some people are really hardcore about their pets' diets and some not so much. I'm in the not so much category. If she's going to eat a mouse behind my back who I am I to deny her a tiny bite of meat or the tuna water?

My cat famously loves all pit fruit - cherries, plums, peaches - plus pineapple. Our vet said these were okay for cats (often, they are listed as dangerous to pets, but those warnings are really about dogs). If you can't find any warnings against berries online that are truly warnings for cats, I think your boy is okay.
