What appetizer can i serve with a Sidecar?

For my entry in the Top Iron cocktail Fight Club Project, which is featuring sour drinks, I will make a classic Sidecar. For my app, I thought serving prawns marinated and flambeed in cognac with a drizzle of lemon juice and zest. any thoughts or ideas?

That sounds good! I also love to serve crostini with camembert topped with a piece of roasted pear or grilled nectarine. Then lightly drizzled with local honey with a touch of aged balsamic stirred in and a tiny sprig of fresh thyme. The flavors of pear or nectarine go super well with a side car.

Cheesy things are good with sour drinks. For another easy and very seasonal idea with blue cheese and fruit you can mix gorgonzola with some chopped walnuts then place a dab of this on a cut fig (which are just coming into season)– roast in the oven on the highest heat till just warmed – d’lish!

John, that sounds like a wonderful start with all those complimentary flavors. I can imagine adding a little more flavor to the prawns. Perhaps a shave of fennel?
