So, how was the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival this year, and where can we go to see the artwork on line?

Some of us have NO chance of getting in town to experience this. Can we at least get a review or some snap shots? The Berlin duo from two years ago were HOT! I really wish I could have seen their dance in real time!

How about this year? What was the main feature or focus?

SEAF was great. The few photos that you might find outside of the artists' sites are probably on SEAF's website, but they don't allow cameras, which means that coverage is limited. This makes sense, when there's so much nudity and erotic-related stuff going on - it's fertile ground for all sorts of copyright violations and liability lawsuits.

l don't believe there was one particular theme or focus this year, other than the costuming themes from one night to the next. lt was well worth it, though, and a great time.

Why were you unable to make it?

A few years ago when it was at Con Works they posted a bunch of the images online.

It seems kind of difficult to find the artwork online. The best I see is if you search around the site or follow the links for the artists. A lot of the artists have works on their sites and so on.

Other than that I can't help you. It was my first time there this year and I'm (apparently) too young to go after 6 pm to see performances.

SEAF Performance Director Clayton has a blog entry that is tracking visuals from the event.

As for the art itself, it does not normally get posted online by the Festival. Best bet is to follow links to the artists from the seattleerotic.org website. I think that's possible, I haven't checked before writing this.
