What duets would you love to see happen?

Even if it is impossible to happen, what two performers would you love to hear do a duet?

My first choice is Divine and Ru Paul.

How could you possibly top what has already been done with Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton singing "Islands In the Stream"??????

Ewan McGregor and Marcus Mumford (of Mumford & Sons). Oh, and did I mention we were all in bed together?

I'd love to see Ted Leo and Andy Falco from the Future of the Left sing some kind of showtune. That'd be hilarious.

    and
    Sir Patrick Stewart.

Covering perhaps NIN's 'Closer' in lounge-, and then, Gilbert&Sullivan- style.

Robin Pecknold & Joanna Newsom. I know they've collaborated live, but I'd like to hear a studio effort from the two of them!

Top be the list has to be the one that almost happened--Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis. I'm frequently tormented by the thought of how great that album could have been.

Richard Thompson and Tracy Chapman has always been a dream for me--I can't help but here the "you're someone I can't help betray" part in I'll Never Give It Up in her voice in my head.

Others I think could be fun:

Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen (gravel vocies ftw!)

Derek Trucks and Joss Stone (guitar/vocals)

Victor Wooten and Robert Randolph (bass/guitar)

Like Megan, I immediately started thinking of the singer from Future of the Left. I was thinking him and Nick Cave though. That would be an awesome duet.
