    I'm kind of glad they're not allowed. As amusing as a good animated .gif can be, most of them are just annoying, and they all become annoying when they're right next to text you want to read.

    The Snoopy Happy Dance is the only ani-gif I can readily think of tolerating. That, and those sarcasmically funny Harry Potter script-edits.

    Perhaps Qland should sell that as a paid upgrade only.
