Thoughts on hiring a house cleaner? My house is a disaster and I'm considering using a cleaning service just once, but I feel strange about paying people to clean my house. I'm not worrying about them stealing or anything like that--it's just that I grew up poor and am now middle class and I feel conflicted about essentially hiring a maid. Would that make me an oppressive overlord, or am I just keeping people employed? Also, what exactly do they do? Do you need to straighten up first so they can deep clean, or do they straighten? How do they know where to put everything? |
