Why cant catholic deacons be around women once there in the deaconate program when there single?

i dont understand why priests dont want there deacons to be around women even when there in the program..only be around family members.
MY POINT IS THAT WHEN THERE NOT GOING TO BE MARRIED AND THEY JUST START THE DEACONATE PROGRAM.THE PRIEST TOLD HIM HE COULDNT BE AROUND ME BECAUSE I GUESS THE PRIEST KNOWS HOW HE FEELS ABOUT ME AND TOLD HIM TO HAVE A CHOSE,BUT THE FUNNY PART IS HE NEVER SAID I COULDNT EVER SEE HIM AGAIN.HE SAID IT WAS TOO RISKY TO GET CAUGHT TOGETER.YES DEACONS CAN BE MARRIED BUT NOT IF THEY WERE NEVER MARRIED IN THE FIRST PLACE OR DIVORCED

Because they explode. It's kind of like what happens in "Ghostbusters" when you cross the streams.

Wow, lady. I have never, ever, encouraged someone to join an archaic, sexist, and horrible institution such as the catholic church - but in this case that guy needs to join up right now and get the fuck away from you.

Calm the fuck down. Go talk to him. If you aren't able to have open, clear, and healthy conversations with this guy that YOU ARE SO MADLY IN LOVE WITH then chances are you DO NOT HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP AND ARE CRAZY.

True love means talking about these kind of things openly. True love means not choosing "god" or "church" over you. True love means not freaking the fuck out and asking us these questions - but asking your partner.

Take a deep breath. Go talk to him. If he doesn't give you the answers that you need - then break it off and find someone who actually talks to you, treats you right, and chooses you first.

The answer to the title question is because the pope/bishop/someone else in the hierarchy of the Catholic church said so.

The rest is pure, solid drama.
