How long before pet hair/dander is no longer an allergy triggering menace?I recently purchased some used furniture to stage a condo I'm selling. I intended to get only items that were from a pet-free home, but it turns out there's some very old (7+ years) pet hair in this otherwise well-kept couch. I've vacuumed it, but should I still be worried about dander that old being an allergen to potential home buyers? Or does the dander disintegrate enough over time that it's no longer a problem? |
