Can anyone recommend a good health insurance provider?

After seeing how much money I had to pay this summer for lots of medical tests and stuff with no insurance, I've decided that I've got to get insurance or else I'll probably never go to a doctor or dentist again. I'm going into a medical training program but they don't provide any insurance. I have none from my mother because she joined the peace corp and they only cover their own people so the whole "insured till your 26" thing doesn't do me any good.

Has anyone had really good or bad experiences?

I've had a great experience with Group Health. Everyone there is really helpful and the insurance is very reasonably priced. And because I do everything at Group Health, I'm never hit by unexpected fees. I actually prefer it to the much more expensive insurance (like Regence) my former employers have provided.

Check out Lifewise of Washington. I had that coverage when I was unemployed and found it to be reasonably priced for the level of coverage.

My Aunt Jane. She gives a good rub down when you're sick.
