Is it illegal to have a sex manual in Saudi Arabia?A newlywed couple I know are moving to Saudi Arabia separately so she can teach English this fall. He will follow in about three months by xmas. They are having a yard sale and have a new copy of "She Comes First" and "He Comes Next" for a quarter a piece. What a bargain.
I considered buying the books and then mailing them to them separately, as a joke, but fear that some snoop will chop their hands off for masturbating, or some such nonsense. Now, i'm wondering just how restrictive is the culture. Would they be at risk for having a "marriage manual" or similar sex book in their personal library while in Saudi Arabia? What about a vibrator? Condoms? Just how far does this go? |
