Outdoor adventure book reccomendations

I've been on an "outdoors" book kick lately, and I'm looking for recommendations for a few more. I've recently finished White Winds and Touching the Void. I've also read (though not recently) just about everything Jack London and Gary Paulson have written. Oh, and I absolutely despise Jon Krakauer so no Into thin air or Into the Wild.

Go look up the Adventure Library (link: Amazon). They have republished many of the classic adventure narratives, from the 18th century until now. Anything they publish is great, and as far as I know, most of it is non-fiction.

A few specific titles come to mind:

Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage -- Non-fiction account of Shackleton's failed attempt to reach the South Pole, and the survival of the entire crew after their ship was caught in the ice.

Alone - Non-fiction account of a winter that Richard Byrd spent alone in a remote antarctic weather station in the 1920's.

K2: Savage Mountain -- An account of the first American ascent of K2 in the Himalayas.

Adrift: 76 Days at Sea -- A man sets out to sail around the world alone. His sailboat breaks up on the west african coast, and he drifts across the Atlantic ocean.
