  1 0 I was recently in South Africa, and bacon-and-banana is a standard option for pizzas. I ordered it once, out of curiosity. It was delicious, but would be better in small quantities. Two completely different but fairly strong flavors competing. Maybe a nice appetizer/hors d'oeuvres?   1 0 My best friend wrapped bacon around an egg yolk and cooked the whole thing. It looked like a giant phallus and tasted like one, too. She's also made bananas foster with candied bacon before, and it really does taste good. Caramel seems to bridge the gap between the two flavors really well.   0 0 I was at a bar when the btender brought out a bottle of bacon vodka given to him by a friend. He made a couple banana bacon daiquiris that were delicious, and very weird. I found this: bakonvodka.com although they don't have the daiquiri recipe. they should.   0 0 The Elvis IS with bacon in addition to bananas, honey and peanut butter. They just leave out the bacon most places that it's served. But the sandwich he bought the rights to had bacon on it. And yes, the banana-bacon combo is awesome.
