Once you understand how to render a human body accurately, so that it looks right in multiple positions, then you can start bending the rules, so that it is stylized. Don't let yourself get lost in the details of the particular style or art that you want to draw so much that you forget it is truly about telling a moving, compelling, and emotional story involving characters that we should all come to love, hate, or a balance of the two.
