  2 0 A taxi from Belltown will actually only cost you around $32 plus tip. There is a flat rate from the downtown Seattle area to the airport. They only use their meter on return trips. I live downtown and have found that calling a taxi the morning of is the best way to get to the airport when you need to be there prior to 6 AM.   0 0 Sorry about your Gran. I would suggest Shuttle Express, as you need to be at SeaTac in the early morning hours. I took it from SeaTac to Capitol Hill at 1:00 am earlier this month and it cost $38. Dropped me off in front of my door and the driver even carried a heavy box up three flights of stairs. Awesome. Because you need a reservation immediately, I'd suggest calling them at 425 981 7000. You could take the 174 bus, which leaves from downtown as Metro 124 around 3:30 am and gets to the airport at 4:15 am, for $2.00. A cab runs about $50, so there's that. Make reservations and call again in the morning so no one forgets. To eliminate one worry on a tough weekend, personal and travel-wise, treat yourself to Shuttle Express. Condolences on your loss. My mother-in-law used shuttle express and it just seemed so expensive for a quick trip to the airport. For some reason I thought there was a train to the airport. The Light Rail does go from Westlake Center to SeaTac for cheap. I didn't mention it here because the first train out to SeaTac is at 5:05 am and wouldn't get you to the airport until 6:20 am; too late for your flight. It's a wonderful ride, though, and you should keep it in mind for getting home, if your flight arrives before midnight. Best of luck, no matter what transport you choose. Safe travels.   0 0 Deepest sympathies, BTB. Ordinarily I'd suggest the Grey Line Airporter. It's $15 one way and $25 RT. Believe it or not, a couple a years ago it was $7 OW and $12 RT. Who said we were in a deflationary spiral, eh? But this time it isn't going to work for you because its first trip of the day arrives at 06:15...unless you want to get there the night before - which I've done when there's been snow, etc. The buses are clean, comfortable, quiet, and very punctual. The Airporter services several downtown hotels only before it heads to the airport - so there aren't a million stops. Since you're in Belltown, you can catch it at either the Warwick or the Westin - whichever one is closest to you. I think the Warwick is the last stop before getting on the freeway for Sea-Tac. You can buy your ticket in advance online, or at the hotel, or from the driver when you board. The Airporter will take you and drop you off at your airlines' ticket counter whichever airline that may be so there won't be anymore walking that necessary. There have been many times when I would have been lost without them. And who wants to start a trip that promises to be expensive anyway with paying a fortune getting to the airport. Here's the schedule and more info for future reference: http://www.graylineseattle.com/airportexpress1.cfm Now, if you feel like you can make it to Westlake, the new Sound Transit train leaves every 15 minutes between 0500-0600 and it's only a 37 minute ride there (they say). It departs more frequently after 0600. I haven't had the chance to use it yet so I can't testify. But this isn't going to work for you this time either because on Sundays the train doesn't start until 0600 (0619 to be exact). If you live near one of the downtown hotels mentioned earlier, you'll be able to get a flat downtown fee for sure. If you don't want to hassle with that, ask for the downtown flat fee when you call for the cab. Most drivers will just be happy for the fare at that hour. Or unless given what you state of mind may be at this time, you don't want to deal with a Metro bus.
