Is there anywhere to buy Polaroid film in Seattle?

I know they stopped making it (or were going to stop) but I wonder if anywhere around here still has some? I also heard mumbles about another company making it in smaller batches, so maybe that's available somewhere? Any leads are appreciated.

I'm pretty sure it's all gone from the stores. It was getting hard to find a year ago, which was the last time any was shipped. We have some -- if you're desperate, shoot me an email. It's expired, or nearly so, naturally.

That's for Spectra and 600 film only. Pack film -- the peel-apart kind -- is still available, made by Fuji -- and it's way better than the Polaroid stuff was anyways. You can pick up an old Polaroid 100 folding camera for pretty cheap these days; I still see them in thrift stores occasionally.

Fuji is also selling an instant camera with integral film, called an Instax, which you can buy online for $50. Film is about a buck a shot, just like Spectra or 600 was.

There's a group of former Polaroid engineers trying to start something up, but there's nothing available yet.

20 Twenty in Ballard still had some film last time I was there. If you have some time you could also check some out-of-the-way drugstores or grocery stores for stock.

While not local, both Adorama and B&H Photo have Polaroid film available online. B&H is the cheapest. Ebay as well.

Glazer's Camera has a bunch of SX-70 film, and also sells the fuji instax kind. The SX-70 is expired Polaroid film, so it has a blue-green hue to it, but I still like it.

Just what are you planning to do with this "instant camera" film, eh? Hmmmmm???
