Do you like Google's new instant search? do you think it is too limiting or does it give better results?

I think is a good step forward on usability, but the fact that starts showing you crap from the first character you type is like a waste.

Let's say I want to search for 'rock and roll'.

R - shows me a bunch of realtor crap
    RO - shit about rooms
ROC - stuff about some place called rockwall
    ROCK - same as above
ROCK A - some stupid shit about rock auto parts
    ROCK AN - finally!

I start getting what I want until I get to "rock a" which to me seems like a plain waste of bandwidth and processing power.

Summarizing, I think is not worth having it unless is placed in some sort of context or frame of reference, for example if you're searching within a certain topic or website.

I'm obviously not the average searcher, as nothing that I've actually been looking for has popped up until after I complete my search terms yet. It has not been particularly useful for me so far, but it doesn't bother me. After all, Google provides me with almost instant answers to the majority of questions I could ever think to ask and for those it doesn't, there's Questionland.

So far I don't like it. Though, to be fair, I haven't really been able to determine if it's search results are better or more limiting. I just don't like change.
