Why did my printer lose wireless capability when we moved?

We recently moved from one neighborhood in Seattle to another. Our HP 6480 printer worked perfectly before the move, both from the main computer it lives next to, and from both of our laptops. But since we've moved, we can't get the printer to work wirelessly any more.

I suspected it might be an IP issue, but I've tried to resolve it from the HP help section and can't seem to figure it out. The printer works perfectly, just not wirelessly. I can't uninstall and reinstall the software, as I don't have the original disc any more. Plus, all the software is there in our computers and recognized, so it's not a software issue as far as I can tell.

Has anyone else had this problem, and how did you resolve it?

Or--Is there someone I can hire that can come fix this for me that won't charge me an arm and a leg? I've already spent waaaaay too long on this project. But I really don't want to pay someone $100 to do something I could do myself, if it's an easy fix....

Thanks!

You don't need a disk to reinstall the software:

But let's not start there. I would follow the steps outlined in the "Wireless Getting Started Guide" for your printer before doing anything else:

Can you ping the printer's IP address from one of the workstations? If not, then re-assign another IP address. If you can, then it's most likely a driver issue. Uninstall and reinstall the drivers, following the steps in the original documentation carefully. That usually only takes a few minutes, and it's well worth the time to experiment with it.
