H2O consists of 2 Hydrogen to 1 Oxygen. By existing as H2O, it neither lacks, nor has too much of any other element. Maybe try to rethink or reword what you are asking here, because you aren't making much sense.

Are you referring to tap water and what is in it? Seattle's water is pretty kick ass and you can get the complete chemical breakdown at:
    http://www.seattle.gov/util/About_SPU/Water_System/Water_Quality/SPU03_001885.asp

SPU supplies water to lots of other towns as well.

What you have just asked is whether a compound made of two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen contains sodium and chlorine. The answer is no, by definition.

For reference, here's a copy of the periodic table of elements.

    http://www.bing.com/visualsearch?g=periodic_table_of_elements&ve=records-(0018)&vsq=periodic+table&qpvt=periodic+table&FORM=SGEWEB#

Water may contain sodium and/or chlorine, but that's a different question.

Are you asking about Salt Water? Or Chlorinated pool water? Or Sulfer Water?

H2O does not "lack" anything. However, many substances can be dissolved in it, and many make it offensive.

Just what is it that you're seeking to find out, Danton? Please rephrase and ask again. This could be very interesting... especially since you posted in News and Politics instead of in Science & Tech.
