Macro searching craigslist?

I'm looking for a way, either via a craigslist tool I am unaware of or some other way (Google alerts?), to set up a daily craigslist search that runs automatically, queries specific terms, and can be customized as to the "municipality.craigslist.com" url's it queries. I tried to set up a google alert but was unable to set a test one to get any results. Help!

    Craigl's list does it for you, aren't you lucky!

    1) Run a search for what you want to be kept up to date on.

    2) At the bottom of the page, on the right, click the orange RSS box.

    3) Depending on your operating system/browser this will give you some options on where to use it. The simplest is just to copy the feed link and use it on your google home page (assuming you have an account). You can also run it through almost any email system or browser or calendar program.

    Let me know if you need help with a particular RSS aggregator.
