Can anyone recommend a better quality costume shop?

I am shopping for my halloween outfit and I don't want to buy one made out of that cheap, chintzy fabric--it makes my skin crawl. I'm willing to spend $100-150, but for that price I want it to be a costume that I'll be able to reuse. Can anyone recommend a costume shop that might have what I'm looking for?

A Masquerade Costume Shop (13310 Bel Red Rd Ste 102, Bellevue) in Bellevue has some very unique costumes. Some are the cheap stuff but they have a great selection of vintage clothes and high quality costumes. A lot are rentals as well so you don't end up buying something you only wear once.

    Here's their website: http://amasquerade.com/

Display & Costume Supply up by Northgate is probably going to be your best bet, unless you're looking for something vintage, in which case the two suggestions already posted might work better.

    www.vintagecostumers.com/

In Roosevelt, they have extremely excellent vintage and period pieces.

There's a place between 8th and 12th on Market Street in Ballard that has a whole host of theater-quality costumes. It's someone's house (I don't have the address, sorry!) on the North side of the street. They put out a sign every year, so hopefully you can find them. I hope they are still there renting costumes. Excellent stuff.
