Where to go for an anniversary dinner for partners with sometimes conflicting diet restrictions?

Any recommendations for a restaurant to go to for an anniversary dinner? I'm gluten intolerant and try to stay dairy-free, but I eat meat/seafood, she's a vegetarian who occasionally dabbles in seafood, but wants the option not to. It's harder than it looks to find a place that isn't a compromise!

I guess the question really would be if you consider not eating meat or seafood at this meal a compromise.

If you answer yes then Vegan places are out. If you answer no then I would suggest:

    Plum Bistro:

    http://www.plumbistroseattle.com/

    Cafe Flora:

    http://www.cafeflora.com/

If you are looking both options in one restaurant you might consider Vietnamese places like:

    Tamarind Tree

    Long Provincial Vietnamese:

For something outside the box you might consider hiring a private chef to design and prepare a special meal that you can enjoy at home that meets both you and your partner's somewhat restrictive dietary preferences.

How about Preservation Kitchen up in Bothell? I have surveyed the menus (dinner, and cafe small plates), and Urbanspoon mentions it is gluten-free friendly. It's posh enough for an anniversary dinner, and offers absinthe cocktails.

Tilth is where you want to go. They have delicious food on their regular menu and also a vegan menu that you can ask to see. It's one of my all time favorite places in Seattle! Plum is pretty good, but not nearly as yummy as Tilth, and they only serve vegan food.
