Is there any way in Facebook to completely block someone?

Let's say the sight of someone really freaks you out but you have mutual friends. Is there a way to make it so you won't ever see their annoying face commenting on your friends posts?

Nope.

"They will, however, see your comments on content that is posted by a mutual friend. You will see their comments as well."

No, if you block them you will not see their face. I think you don't see their comments, either. I know they cannot see yours.

Legomyland is right. I did this with my previous ex due to hatred and mutual friends, and I never see any evidence on Facebook that she exist at all.

Thanks guys! I'm still not entirely sure if blocking will work as extensively as I want it to, but it will help at least.

...All good. But keep in mind that FB reserves the right to suddenly change policies and ignore all your settings. Check them every once in a while and you'll notice that your preferences have mysteriously changed for the worse. And then there's all the glitches and bugs.

Just saying. It's Facebook, ok? Don't expect much.

Yup, if you block them, you won't see ANY of their activity and they won't see yours.
