I mean the two places where it occurred are both dark and damp. it could have been the crazy weather we had, with all those high pressure and low pressure cycles or the large, large un-PacNW amounts of rain we had about a month ago. It could be that a new mold spore was introduced to your bathroom that is overly vigorous. It could be the effect of a new bathroom cleaner. If you clean it up and it comes back repeatedly THEN you should be worried.
