Pumpkin carving ideas?

I'd like something that is fun/funny but not too complex. Thanks for the help.

We've done the classic vomiting pumpkin for several years - I add rice and mini M&Ms and a few gummi worms to the vomitus to make it more realistic. Extreme Pumpkins has lots of funny stuff that's not too hard to do: http://www.extremepumpkins.com/

The best one I've seen is a skull. You remove all of the orange rind and carve it into a creepy looking skull. I saw this at a carving contest and the person carved it upside down and cut a larger than usual hole in the top so she could wear it as a part of a Jack Skellington costume (with a swim cap to protect her hair).

I'm taking inspiration from Martha Stewart this year and making two of the ideas from her site (there's a big gallery of pumpkin ideas here: http://www.marthastewart.com/photogallery/pumpkins#slide_1.

Already made the mouse motel (http://www.marthastewart.com/goodthings/mouse-motel), which was super easy and looks really good. Next weekend will attempt the vulture's cage (http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/vultures-cage), which is more complicated, though you can print out a template from the site to help in carving.
