What are some good date restaurants / activities in the International District?

Me and my lady friend wanna go spend the evening exploring the ID tonight. We don't get down that way very often. What to do? Where to eat? (we're both vegetarians) Where to go?

Thanks!

    I recommend Green Leaf! (http://greenleaftaste.com)

Beautiful little restaurant, really nice staff, great Vietnamese food... I have such a warm fuzzy feeling toward this place.

Might be a wait on a Friday night.

Too bad you don't eat meat, because my favorite thing there is beef seven ways, a seven-course beef meal intended to be shared by two. They have lots of vegetarian stuff, too, though.

Tamarind Tree! Make reservations and show up on time. Then go sing karaoke at Bush Garden.

    Go to Unicorn Crepes!

It's toooo cute to share a dessert there after whatever else you do for a date. And also, they are delicious.

Absolutely second Green Leaf. Absolutely stunning. Get the pancake as an appetizer.

The Panama Hotel tea house for afterwards.

Moonlight Cafe has awesome food - get the veggie appetizer platter, make your own spring rolls. Try the fish hot pot. Oh god, its good.

    Another vote for Green Leaf.

I once would have recommended Tamarind Tree in a heartbeat, and I think for a 2-person date, it's still an excellent choice. Unfortunately Tamarind Tree now employs rather Draconian measures and fees if you have to change your reservation. (This was bound to happen I suppose, given that Tamarind Tree's popularity was spiralling up exponentially the past few years.)

I suggest Vegan Garden up just past 12th and jackson. They're all vegan and it's pretty darn good for this carnivore.
If you go down a little further to the Pacific Rim Mall they have a massage house where you can get 30 min. each on the feet and the body for only $45. You keep your clothes on, but it's a clean place and they'll take care of you. Open till 11pm.
I also enjoy just walking around Uwajimaya, though I hate shopping there. It's a crime what they charge sometimes. They do have interesting things to doodle with in the retail sections (books, kitchenware, furniture). Open till 10pm
If you want drinks go to Maekawa bar or Maneki. At Maneki you will likely have a drink with a bunch of old japanese ladies.
I also like the Panama Hotel idea.

I second Tamarind Tree. Last I checked they didn't accept reservations, but the wait is worth it. Get the Tamarind Tree rolls and the pomegranate martinis.

The Panama Hotel is great. They serve coffee, tea, and pastries. Also they were supposed to start serving beer and wine.

Greenleaf. Or depending on the date, Unicorn Crepes, because hey, it's Unicorn Crepes.

The Panama Hotel is a really cool place. Mostly coffee and pastries, although now they are supposed to be serving wine and beer at night.
