What are the lyrics in Alan Parson's "What Goes UP"?

Big debate in my family among the teen. They've both come up with differing interpretations of what the lyrics say, AND, two different sources on the internet list different words...

"How can you be so sure?
How do you know what the EARTH will endure?
How can you be so sure..."

The other kid swears that it says"
"How can you be so sure?
How do you know what the END will endure?
How can you be so sure..."

Please help settle this for our family. The album is "Pyramid" and the song is "What Goes UP....Must come Down." Thanks.

    I have an actual retail CD of "Pyramid" (probably 20 years old) with the lyrics printed on the inside of the sleeve. The answer is "earth". (Though I agree, it sounds a lot like "end.")

    there's lots of ways to search for the lyrics online, that'll probably give you the most accurate results!
