  1 0 I'm on a mac and here's what I'd do if I wanted to use background as my desktop. Scroll down to the bottom of Questionland page - see (faint) "rest" between mushroom & gnome? click "rest" and take a screen shot. Plus I thought it would be neat to have a place where they kept the backgrounds so people could download them when they wanted. And the links I gave you work on any broswer. Those two images are what the background is made of.
