What is the hipster animal du jour?

First songbirds/swallows then octopuses then owls maybe throw in horses somewhere (quite a few horse-print dresses around). Maybe there's not an animal right now, but cupcakes are over as are anthropomorphic clouds and cherries are long gone. Seriously, what are people putting on pendants for etsy and getting screen-printed or tattooed?

    You left out deer and antlers, which happened somewhere between owls and horses.

    I think maybe the next big woodland creature is the fox. I know I've been into them lately.

    But the woodland creature thing is pretty much played. I think the next big motif is going to be sea creatures - sea urchins, coral, jellyfish, etc.

    Raccoons are the shit. They need their day in the sun (or moon, since they're nocturnal). What's more hipster than an animal that wears a bandit mask and stripes at all times?
