Where are the best booths in Seattle?

Booths like the kind you find at bars and/or restaurants. Not booths like the kind you find at craft fairs.

I'm hesitant to say since I might have to fight you for them, but the booths at Gainsbourg in Greenwood are so fabulous. They're not all cushy-cush, but they're perfect nonetheless--very intimate and they have great lamps on each one.

And speaking of Greenwood, I also love the booths at Taqueria Tequila lining both sides of the restaurant. These ones are crazy comfy. You can really relax while you eat your fajitas and take in Unavision.

With the Lusty Lady closed I don't know if you can find any decent ones in Seattle now. I'd try Portland.

I know what you mean about those craft fair racks. :|

Pesos on QA. The booths are big and round. You step up into them and there is seating on 3 sides of each table. Cool light fixtures too.

Go for breakfast. Too fratty the rest of the time.

Piccolo's pizza has great wooden booths. They're not plush, or even particularly comfortable, but they're semi-enclosed and have a cool, hand-made look. There's one in the front that seats about six people, and is like a little grotto.

Joey's on Eastlake have super comfy booths in the bar area and in the dining area. The place is very Bellevue but if you can get past that it's warm and comfy and even has a view from the right spot.

Big Mario's on Pike has old style vinyl red (ish) booths that are nice and padded. The Pizza is excellent but it's possible that the music could kill you before you can really enjoy the rest of it.

I'm really looking forward to the other answers because it's all about the booths! Great frickin question. I wish I could give you a mushroom for it.

I enjoy the booths at Brouwer's in Fremont, if you can snag one. They are lined up against the cave-like wall, and with the low ceiling of the balcony above, they feel pretty intimate.

How 'bout the Rendezvous? Massive booths often empty and good drinks.
