DUI question

I was involved in an auto accident but refused all tests (blood, breathe, urine). I was obviously buzzed but didn't admit to the officer that I had been drinking and he didn't arrest me (I was taken to the hospital). The traffic citation only stats that I ran a red light. Should I just pay the ticket and go on or should I go to court and plead not guilty? I am getting mixed answers from a few different lawyers. One is saying just pay it and go on and another is saying plead not guilty and then be found guilty of running the red light by a jury because once I'm found guilty of running the red light they cannot find me guilty of a DUI too. Any advice?

Pay the ticket and be grateful that you didn't kill anyone. Wasting tax dollars and a jury's time is a terrible way to show remorse.

    1. Don't post a question online for all to see on a popular site and admit to guilt expecting the jury or prosecutors not to catch wind of it eventually.

    oh.

    ...oops.

    Advice?

-Stop shopping around for lawyers, pick one, and do what they tell you to do.

-Don't expect strangers on the internet to help you skate on a potential DUI.

-When a police officer asks you if you have been drinking, and you have, don't say "no". Lying to a cop will only make things worse for you.

-Don't say words like "involved" when you meant "caused".

    -Take responsibility for your actions.

-Oh yeah, and don't drink and drive ever again.

Driving under the influence is the act of operating any motorized machinery after consuming alcohol or other drugs. DUI terms is that represent the criminal offense of operating (or in some jurisdictions merely being in physical control of) a motor vehicle while being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or a combination of both. It is a criminal offense in most countries. Don’t you know while driving drinking is prohibited? I think it’s a punishable thing. You know many essay writing services companies are published number articles and blogs about traffic rules.

A: go with lawyer A: pay it and move on. You clearly ran the light. How would you argue exactly that you did not run the light with hospital visit/damaged vehicles/cop's testimony to show for it? You were guilty. Just be honest.

and aside: Since when does a jury handle a moving violation worthy of traffic court?

Isn't your 'not guilty' option a checkmark on the back of your ticket? My experience (speeding) is that non-felony moving violations in traffic court involves a one-on-one with a magistrate.
Regardless, the magistrate would laugh their ass off if you tried to claim not guilty. You might go and "explain the circumstances" and plead for mercy in regards to the fee, but that's about it.

You can't be found guilty of a dui BECAUSE of the outcome of a red light case. You'd need to be CHARGED with DUI, first.
